Download and forward

You cannot only download files in Docufiller, you can also forward them to colleagues or external parties, just like WeTransfer.

Download files

 

You can only download a file or image from Docufiller if the Media Library is active. Click the ‘Properties’ button for the file in question.

Now click ‘Direct download’ and the image or file will be downloaded directly to your PC.

Forward files

 

You can also send multiple files by offering files as a download. Just like WeTransfer. 

Select the files in question by activating the checkbox. The ‘x selected’ counter the top right indicates how many files you have selected.

Next, click ‘Share’ and the following screen appears:

Now you can choose whether the images can be downloaded via email or as a link.

Share files VIA EMAIL
Click ‘email’ and the following screen appears:

In the ‘Download available until’ field, enter the desired date and time (mandatory entry field!). The download option is no longer valid after this date/time. 

Complete the ‘Recipient’s email address’ and ‘Subject’ fields. You can add a personal note to the message if you wish. When you are ready, click send. 

‘Send me a copy of this email’ is ‘activated’ as standard, so you will receive an email copy of this download at the email address linked to your Docufiller account. 

The email is sent with a download link:

The recipient clicks Download to download the files.

Share files AS A LINK
Click ‘hyperlink’ and the following screen appears:

In the ‘Download available until’ field, enter the desired date and time (mandatory entry field!). Now click the ‘Download link’ button.

Copy the link and paste it into, for example, a personal email.

NOTE The link can also be used in a bulk email message to refer to a file, such as a PDF in the Media Library.
